the call

When I first heard Regina Spektor's song 'The Call' a year ago, I was struck by the first several lines. As each new phrase unrolled, they captured the process of my own calling to plant a church. I heard it again yesterday and felt affirmed in that calling and grateful for the journey I like to call 'the long road to yes.' The sentiment is simple, but true to my story. Here are the lyrics:
